Brovad Sands

Beautiful and set on Bugala Island, Kalangala, in the middle of Lake Victoria, Brovad Sands is a great choice for destination weddings. The MV Vannesa boat that travels there is comfortable and provides a fun boat cruise experience to and fro. It's close enough to be convenient but not far enough to be a logistical challenge to wedding guests and bridal party alike. How to travel from Nakiwogo

Visitor can get to Bugala Island on the MV Kalangala Ferry from Nakiwogo landing site near Entebbe. It departs the mainland at 1400HRS  daily and docks at Lutoboka bay. The Ferry sets off every morning at 0800HRSfrom Lutoboka bay to Nakiwogo Landing site. The journey from Nakiwogo to Bugala Island is approximately about Three and a half hours.
