Your ideal venue may be Chobe or Mweya or Kigo. These stunning venues can definitely do justice to your sophistication and love of the finer things in life!

If you found yourself answering Mostly 2s:

Your ideal venue may be Brovad Sands or Holland Park or Pakuba.

However, in showcasing their unique characteristics we hope the ideas help you to better visualize and crystallize your perfect dream wedding! Helping you pick "the one" when you're so spoiled for choice!

Chobe Safari Lodge

There's a reason Chobe spoke to celebrity power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West! It's just the epitome of glamorous! Their swimming pool overlooking River Nile could be at home in a hotel in Malibu or Monaco or Mauritius! With great service, elegant comfortable rooms, good food, activities like Game drives, Swimming and Boat Cruises readily available; Chobe is an epic destination wedding venue for anyone with a discerning eye and a taste for luxury.

Mweya Lodge

Perched on the Rift Valley escarpment, it's swimming pool overlooks the Kazinga Channel, its dining patio boasts a view of Lake George on the horizon and its rooms are built on a beautiful plateau overlooking the Savannah plain below teeming with game animals and dotted with crater lakes as far as the eye can see(even with binoculars!). Mweya lodge could not be more perfectly situated. One can't fail to realize why it's still going strong as a preferred Ugandan holiday destination for decades. And by choosing it as a wedding venue, one gets the perfect combination of family holiday and dream wedding. Talking about Classic & Timeless the bride and groom get to stay in the Queen's cottagr- so named because it is where Queen Elizabeth II stayed on her holiday in the mid1900's! And for those who prefer the outdoor al fresco ceremony option the peninsula lawn can be Gazetted. Not to mention activities galore! Swimming, a Spa, outdoor Fireplace, Boat trips, Game drives, an Ecological Museum and even Hot Air balloon safaris!

Pakuba Safari Lodge

Pakuba is a true Rustic's dream! Rough enough around the edges to feel at one with nature and the thrill of wilderness adventure (Leopard, Buffalo or Giraffes often stroll right through) but still with all the modern comforts: hot water, spacious rooms and swimming pool to have the relaxing holiday feel! Activities for wedding guests include: Game drive, Waterfall hike, Swimming, Murchison falls boat ride, among others.

Brovad Sands

Beautiful and set on Bugala Island, Kalangala, in the middle of Lake Victoria, Brovad Sands is a great choice for destination weddings. The MV Vannesa boat that travels there is comfortable and provides a fun boat cruise experience to and fro. It's close enough to be convenient but not far enough to be a logistical challenge to wedding guests and bridal party alike. The facilities are decent, the rooms are really spacious, the beach is clean, there is a swimming pool and the food is nice. One may have a beach barbecue, bonfire night, go on nature walks, visit the spa or hire a bicycle to ride or go on a canoe ride...

Holland Park

If Chobe is glamorous and Mweya is Classic and Pakuba is Rustic, then Holland park is "Out of the Box". This isn't where you go to feed the 5,000! It is cosy, intimate, warm and Quirky- ideal for a small wedding. Set on the banks of the Nile it has good accomodation , great ambiance and beautiful views. The stone tiled pool is always cool to swim on hot sunny days and literally a hop, a skip and a jump away, one can Float on the Nile, go rafting, Kayak, hire quad bikes and ride horses, giving wedding guests an amazing selection of holiday activities to try out over the wedding weekend. Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda, is a short drive away right at your doorstep providing additional accommodation options for other guests who aren't in the entourage or close family to stay that fit every taste and budget, plus providing even MORE activities, excitements, attractions and group dinner options.

Kyaninga

Kyaninga really is a hidden gem! The breathtaking views of the Kyaninga Crater lake provide the kind of stunning backdrop destination weddings were inspired from! In your wedding photos you might as well be in Milan, Italy at Lake Como or even in popular USA destination wedding locations like Lake Tahoe... it's just gorgeous! The Lodge itself is built on top of a wooden walkway over the trees so you do feel like you're walking in the air! The reception hall is a barn style which lends itself beautifully to stunning decor and the location photography and videography will be your very own Fairytale in 3D! Even though the Lodge itself can only take a few guests, you'll be surrounded by your intimate circle and yet Fort Portal town is just round the corner and Kyaninga lake is dotted with half a dozen options for wedding guests to stay who aren't in the entourage or close family. Our Destination Guide boasts deals and information on at least 12 accommodations to fit every budget and taste.

Bunyonyi Safari Resort

Lake Bunyonyi is quickly becoming the runner up to Jinja on adventure and making fun memories. It's our Wakanda, a beautiful lake studded with emerald islands rich in local folklore. If you fancy getting married on a mountain lake in Switzerland, remember Kabale was called the Switzerland of Uganda for a reason. Guests will have lots of beautiful accommodation options, the food can never get fresher than in Kabale which is a veritable food basket, Kabale town nearby has a vibrant social scene for bachelorette or bachelor night out dancing if you so wish... as well as options for guests who may not stay at the lake itself. Activities include Canoe rides, Swimming, Zipline and cultural tours. Your wedding will definitely be memorable here.

Kaazi Beach Resort

Kaazi Beach Resort is a family friendly lakeside hotel with fantastic views of Lake Victoria, an Olympic size swimming pool, and quite a few options on sandy beach, grass lawn, poolside and balcony terrace to host the perfect wedding. The Rooms are well appointed and they offer generous discounts.
