Mahsuri’s Tomb
Opening Time : 08HH:00MM    Closing Time : 18HH:00MM    Duration : 0 hrs 30 min
Mahsuri’s Tomb is the crypt of the legendary Princess Mahsuri. Located in the village of Mawat, 12km from Kuah, it is also known as Makam Mahsuri. Most of the island’s natural attractions have fables attached in true Malay style and Mahsuri’s Tomb is probably its most famous legend.

Opening Time : 06HH:00MM    Closing Time : 20HH:00MM    Duration : 0 hrs 30 min
Black Sand Beach and the complex is a nice place for the families with kids. While other than the blackish sand there is not much beach activities that can be done here, it is definitely worth a visit. Children have access to the playground, while you can shop, and finally have some good snacks or lunch with your family at the cafe. If you are visiting the Shark Bay Beach, you should make a visit here as well.

Opening Time : 06HH:00MM    Closing Time : 20HH:00MM    Duration : 0 hrs 30 min
Eagle Square, Dataran Lang is one of Langkawi’s best known manmade attractions, a large sculpture of an eagle poised to take flight. A sight that greets visitors to the island via ferry, the 12 metre-tall statue is one of the island’s most instantly recognizable monuments.

Located at the southeast corner of Pulau Langkawi, besides offering beautiful views of Kuah Bay, Dataran Lang has beautiful miniature fountains, terraces and bridges, making it the ideal place for those postcard-perfect holiday photos. The square is a good place to watch ferries ply across the harbour but plan a trip here early in the morning or late in the evening when the sun is at its least intense.

Opening Time : 06HH:00MM    Closing Time : 21HH:00MM    Duration : 1 hrs 0 min
Langkawi’s main town, Kuah, is located on the southeast corner of the island and is the arrival point for most of the ferries. If you’re arriving here with the illusion that you’re going to see clear white stretches of beaches as far as the eye can see, then you’re sadly mistaken. They’re located elsewhere on the island.

Kuah is a town which sits on reclaimed land and the waterfront sadly looks like a mucky and murky strip. Ships are ever-present in the distance and the looming mountains on the nearby islets are visible during the day but truthfully the Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah stretch is the place to go for clear and inviting views of the crystal clear ocean.

Opening Time : 09HH:00MM    Closing Time : 18HH:00MM    Duration : 0 hrs 30 min
Langkawi Crocodile Farm houses one of the largest numbers of crocodile and alligator species gathered together in the world. Here, reptiles range from newborns to world record-holders, including Bujang Kawi, the oldest croc born without teeth: he weighs over 454kg (1,000lbs) and is over four metres long.

Also known as Taman Buaya Langkawi, the Langkawi Crocodile Farm is spread across 20 acres and situated near Datai Bay, just 32km north of Kuah. Nothing quite compares to an afternoon spent in the company of its more than 1,000 crocodiles: watching, feeding, and fearing these reptiles will make for an unforgettable day out and a trip here is practically a must.
